应用物理学专业本科人才培养方案

一、培养目标

本专业培养身心健康、勇于担当,具备宽广而扎实的物理科学理论和实验基础、光电子科学与技术的基本理论、基本知识和实践技能,拥有良好的创新意识和科学的思维方式、分析和解决实际问题的能力,适应学科交叉和社会不断发展的需要,能在应用物理学及绿色新能源、新材料等相关高科技领域中从事科学研究、技术开发、产品设计、生产技术管理、教学及管理工作的理工复合型高级专门人才。

(一)专业特色

坚持“厚基础、宽口径、重实践、求创新”的办学宗旨,确定应用物理学专业定位为:夯实基础,加强物理学基础课程教学重在应用,光电子方向,偏向光电子材料与光通信技术技能培养,为社会培养能在光电子材料、光伏产业、光纤通讯等高科技领域中从事科学研究、技术开发、产品设计、生产技术管理的理工结合型高级专门人才。

(二)实现途径

应用物理学专业通过在学科建设、师资队伍建设、专业实验室建设、教学科研、人才培养及学术交流等方面的着力,为最终实现把应用物理学专业办成湖南省乃至中南地区有一定特色,有一定影响的基础应用型专业打下良好的基础。

1课程设置上。应用物理学专业除了在数学上按非数学类专业大学数学的最高标准要求安排256课时的学习外,力光热电原基础课开齐,使学生能学习到扎实的数理基础知识,有利于学生进一步深造。同时,应用物理学专业作为一门基础学科应用型专业,是学生理论知识修养和动手实践能力培养并重的一个学科,特别加强实践实习课程的设置。

2、在师资配备上。应用物理学专业师资队伍建设以打造一支优秀专业教学团队为目标,改善学历结构、专业结构和学缘结构,优化年龄结构和职称结构,加强人才引进力度,促进继续教育培训,使师资队伍更趋合理性、发展性和可持续性,满足教育教学需要。

3、实验室建设上。应用物理专业争取和投入了较充足的实验室建设经费,利用财政部专项资金逐年购买了几批专业实验仪器,在已有大学物理基础课实验的基础上,建设了包括近代物理实验、光电子实验、应用光学实验以及激光实验等专业实验室,很好的保障了实验教学。实验教学人员均由具有博士、硕士学位的中青年教师担任,专职、兼职实践教学人员基本上都在大学物理实验室工作多年,实验教学经验丰富,队伍结构合理。

4、本专业十分重视学生实践能力的培养和提高,在新生认识实习、生产实习、课程设计、课程实习等方面加大培养力度,注重学生动手能力的提高,注重校企对接,注重产学研协调发展,大力加强见习、实习、就业基地的建设,为学生提供有质量的实习条件。

三、培养要求及保障措施

本专业学生要求学习物理学方面的基本理论和专业知识,要求掌握宽广而扎实的物理科学理论和实验基础,具备光电子科学与技术应用的基本理论、基本知识和实践技能。在掌握绿色新能源与新材料专业知识的基础上践行绿色发展理念。

本专业学生应具备以下知识和能力:

1、较为系统地掌握应用物理学的基本理论、基本实验技能以及所需的数学基础;了解物理学前沿、发展动态和应用前景以及相关高新技术产业的发展状况。

2、具备较广泛的科学适应能力和较强的知识更新能力;了解与本专业密切相关的学科、方向的发展与应用情况;受到较为严格的工程基础初步训练,具备从事理论研究、科技开发、技术管理的初步能力。

3、本专业教学按照“厚基础、宽口径、重实践、求创新”的人才培养模式,在基础课教学阶段,要求学生学好必修课的同时,特别注重英语和计算机能力的提高,使学生具有较强的计算机应用能力和较高的英语水平,能较熟练地运用英语阅读本专业的书刊,进行一般的语言和文字的交流,较熟练地掌握资料查询、文献检索、学术论文撰写基本技能以及运用现代技术手段获取相关科技信息的基本能力,受到参与学术交流的基本训练,培养良好的表达能力、学习能力、合作能力及健全的通识能力。

4、特别注重物理学所形成的科学世界观(包括自然观、宇宙观等)对整个人类文化发展所产生的深刻影响;注重应用物理学所形成的种种方法,如理论与实验、归纳与演绎、分析与综合、类比联想与猜测试探、理想化与模型化、估算与概算等;从整体上对应用物理学的内容、科学方法、工作语言、基本概念、物理图像以及物理学的发展历史、现状和前沿有一个较全面的了解。使学生在理论方法、实验技能和科学计算上受到较为系统的训练,养成良好积极的文化素养和职业素养。

(二)保障措施

1、通过建立和完善多项人事制度,加强教师队伍建设,提升教师队伍整体素质。高素质教师队伍是提高本科生培养质量的保证。学校与学院二级联动,分别制定了满足学科发展人才引进制度与培养计划。自2006年以来,学校加大了人才引进和培养的力度,每年有新进的博士或博士后充实专业教师队伍,每年选派年轻教师进入中科院或国外高校深造,教师队伍整体素质逐年提升。

2、科学构建专业课程体系。科学的课程体系是实现人才培养目标的重要保证。根据专业定位,突出 “光电子”特色,制定了由通识教育课程、专业教育课程以及实践教学课程组成的课程体系。

3、健全本科人才质量评价体系。如何科学评价高校人才培养质量,关系到大学人才培养工作实际,对以后工作开展具有深刻影响。近年来,学校对人才质量评价体系不断予以细节化和具体化,制定了教学巡视检查考核制度、设立专业设置论证制度以及校际对照评测制度,建立起系统完善、体系完整、运行良好的人才培养质量信息反馈系统、教学质量监控体系,重视并积极参加官方组织的教学评估、评价工作。

十、第二课堂活动要求

  为了拓展学生文化素质,学生在校期间需修满12学分第二课堂学分,如军事理论(1.5学分,必修)、大学生职业发展与就业指导(0.5学分,必修)、英语自主学习听说训练(2学分,必修)、心理健康教育(0.5学分,必修),思政系列课程课外实践(4.5学分,必修),还需通过参与科学研究、学科竞赛、文体比赛、社会实践或者社会工作等修满另外的课外实践活动3个学分。
